Rally For Rocker - A Rocker Memorial Banked Slalom Race
Rally Up & Rock Down! The Rally For Rocker is the only backcountry, banked slalom race sanctioned by the National Forest. Making it the only one of its kind. There is literally not one single other event in the entire world. Seriously. Look it up! Google wouldn’t lie to you…ever.
This year was tough with a collection different speed bumps including the lack of snow to work with in building out the course, but with the community’s support they got it done and managed to raise over $12K for Rocker Memorial Skatepark!
The sun provided ample Vitamin-D (for some a little too much), the community brought the party, and the Rocker Memorial Committe brought THE RALLY!

We need your help. Please put June 23rd on your calendar. RMSP is tentatively scheduled for our Town of Truckee Planning Commission hearing. PERMITS. The monkey off our back. “When can you build it?” “ummm… depends on permits.” More detail on Go Skateboarding Day June 21st – Tuesday at the Truckee Skatepark.
We’re so close. We’ve done the ‘work’ to get this through the process. We need your help to raise the remaining $800K we’ll need to build everything. We can do it. With permits, as soon as we’ve got the money, we can get started with the build. We’ve set our tentative ‘break ground’ date as April 15th 2023. The park could be built next year.
Volunteers to help with fundraising are needed badly. It takes time and effort to search out and apply for grants, present to local organizations, and host our community events. We can get this done next year with your help. Please reach out if you are interested in getting involved.
